Does your Wellness Center accept health insurance?
In order to offer the special discounts on all of our fees, we do not participate in medical insurance reimbursement or Medicare/Medicaid.
Will my medical insurance pay for lab tests?
Conventional Lab Tests that you are probably familiar with are thyroid testing, vitamin D and cholesterol, to name a few. Most of these labs will bill your insurance company. If you do not have insurance, we have labs with discounted self-pay prices.
We use high-quality, cutting- edge advanced lab tests in order to get the most accurate information about how your body is working and to help uncover the root cause of your illness. These tests may or may not be covered by your insurance company. That is why we ask you to communicate directly with the lab.
What is the average cost of a new client visit including tests and supplements?
Our Wellness Center offers exclusive discounts that are only available with newsletter sign-up. We will do our best to work within your financial parameters even when that means some tests will not be ordered. That is why we cannot give you an average cost. Please note that specialized testing and supplements are an integral part of the process to address the root cause of your symptoms. Depending on your health issues, some supplements may be taken on a temporary basis and others may be taken on a more permanent basis.
How many visits will I have with your Wellness Center?
The frequency of the follow-ups will depend on the nature of your health issues. Most people see significant improvement after 3-4 visits. If you have an autoimmune disease, severe toxicity, or a chronic or severe condition, there may be more visits before you see improvement.
What are wellness coaching sessions?
Many clients like to check in monthly or every few months to make sure they are staying on track with their health goals. This can be done by follow-up appointments and wellness coaching sessions. Coaching sessions equip and empower you to make changes and stay on track with healthy eating, special diets, and lifestyle changes, to name a few. These sessions are customized to fit your needs and provide additional support to your periodic appointments. Most of the time, coaching sessions are done by telephone.
What are weight loss coaching sessions?
We have found that a weight loss program combined with a monthly coaching plan is the best way for you to achieve your weight loss goals. The coaching plan equips and empowers you to make lifestyle changes and dietary changes. When you have achieved your weight loss goals, after weight loss coaching plans are available to support you.
What is the difference between a client appointment and a wellness coaching session?
Appointments are intended for those that want to address simple issues to more complicated medical conditions. There is usually lab testing from routine tests to more advanced biomedical testing. A customized treatment program is developed, accompanied by supplements, dietary recommendations, and suggested lifestyle changes. Wellness coaching sessions equip and empower you to make changes and stay on track with healthy eating, special diets, lifestyle changes, and more. As you can see, appointments and coaching sessions compliment each other.
Can I become a client if I live outside of Phoenix or out of the country?
Of course! Because a large number of our client base lives outside of the Phoenix area, we have adapted our Wellness Center to work with clients wherever they may be. If you would like to become a client and live elsewhere, your first client visit may be by telephone or in-person. If a nurse practitioner-patient relationship needs to be established for more complicated medical conditions or prescription medications, your initial appointment will need to be in-person. Subsequent appointments can be over the phone if you wish.
Will Tricia be my primary care provider?
While Tricia may address some of your primary care needs, she will not be your primary care provider. We do require that you have a primary care provider for routine screening exams, episodic illness, complete physicals, and for emergency situations requiring immediate care or hospitalization.
Is Tricia available for speaking events?
Absolutely! Just go to the “Speaker Inquiries” page and fill out the information.
Do I need to get my medical records and for how many years?
Generally, we ask for three years of lab work and medical tests. If this is a more complicated condition or illness, additional medical records will probably be indicated. Please contact your health care provider to obtain your records directly. Please make sure that we receive your forms a minimum of 8 business days prior to your appointment.
